Russian Athletes Fall Ill to Malaria

ESPN

Several dozen Russian athletes have reported falling ill to malaria in another twist to an already morbidly exciting summer Olympic Games.
The athletes who were from the only country affected, reported their maladies to their team doctors, who discovered that the athletes all shared the disease.
“We’re not sure exactly how it happened” said Anatoly Abramovich, the Russian team doctor.
“It must have been a very high concentration”
Injuries among athletes have been at an all time high this Olympics.
Previously Germany was accused of sabotaging a javelin competition, and China has been accused of injuring a Venezuelan archery player.
Additionally, athletes have been burned in Guanabara Bay and killed in a terrorist attack on the Olympic Stadium.
Some athletes have expressed concern about the state of safety at the Olympics, including a possible athlete walk out.
