Putin Found to Have Fabricated the Connection Between the ODP and ISIL

After receiving information from an independent news article, it has been revealed that Vladimir Putin fabricated the Ordem do Progresso connection to the terrorist organization ISIL.  

Earlier this week an audio interview of an ISIL defector was released accusing the ODP of being financially backed by ISIL. This damaging information painted a dark shadow across this opposition group, and implicated it in the multiple bomb threats that have wreaked havoc on the Olympic games and Brazilian wellbeing.

“It was a terrible shock,” Mariana Sousa, a displaced favela inhabitant and activist stated. “I believe action must be taken against the current government regime, but I never thought the ODP, which I have supported, would be connected to a terrorist organization such as ISIL.”

Multiple documents and email correspondence from a covert investigation has been uncovered that proves Putin’s role in this set up, and alarmingly, it implies that Russia has ties to the terrorist organization, or at least to the organization’s supposed defector.

ISIL condemns the actions of Vladimir Putin, and has released statements about “never being connected with such apostates as the ODP.” Clearly it was as much of a surprise to them as it was to the ODP.

Other world leaders, such as Pope Francis and Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon have also condemned Putin and this smearing of the ODP. Vladimir Putin has not yet responded to any questions.
