The Rio Times
Characteristically pristine finger-curled locks in unkempt disarray and skeptical eyebrows perpetually knitted, Dilma Rousseff addresses the Brazilian public with her recently self-published video that discloses the supposed corruption of current Acting President, Michel Temer.
Addressing the Petrobras scandal, Rousseff discloses unprecedented information on Temer’s role as the largest recipient of the resulting illicit profits.
Vehemence in her eyes and betrayal in her inflection, Rouseff publicizes that her insider intelligence had led to the discovery of Temer’s underhand deception. Further revealed is the fact that all the incriminating evidence have been destroyed by the Temer administration, in accordance to Rousseff’s statement.
“This is treason of the highest sorts,” said Rousseff, “and the Brazilian public deserves to know of [Temer’s] treachery.”
Many critics are viewing Rousseff's video as a strategic ploy in detracting public attention of the Petrobras scandal from herself onto Temer to better her chances of political approval and presence. The hypocritical nature in Rousseff's disparaging of Temer and the lack of viable evidence further discredits her accusations, but this information is sure to be effective in furthering Brazil’s governmental instability.
