Press Release - Leader of the Opposition, Aecio Neves

The people of Rio de Janeiro burned their legislative building, the building they own, to show their disgust at corruption on all levels of government.

Under a Neves presidency, this building would be rebuilt, with glass walls symbolizing the transparency of the renewed Brazil. It would also be far larger, big enough for the people of Rio to come see their legislators at work.

Such is the model that Neves and Dallagnol would create for the management of our country: open flow of information, and the ability of every citizen to see what their government is doing. This is what the people have shown they want.
