#Letmypeoplego Movement Begins, Becomes Irrelevant

A recent social media campaign, #LetMyPeopleGO, has picked up speed, uniting the people of China, Germany, Venezuela, and Russia under a single goal: having their governmental leaders released from Rio’s Stadium’s VIP box, Maracana.

It was Pele, Brazil’s superstar football player that first started the hashtag, and there are reports that within Maracana itself he has been launching his own escape attempt by digging at the walls in the box. Most likely Pele was attempting to answer the prayers of the President of the People's Republic of China, who recently entered the religion of Peleism with the rest of the People’s Republic of China, for escape.

It seems like the International Olympic Committee is bending under the pressure of #LetMyPeopleGo as they have just announced that they will be ending the lockdown in the Maracana VIP box.
