The Chinese long-distance archer, Dai XiaoXiang, was rushed to Hospital Samaritano earlier today with injuries from a car collision in Rio’s route 101.
The nature of the accident is inherently suspicious considering that traffic was at a near standstill. Despite how this should have lessened the probability of a high-velocity collision, the vehicle in which Dai was presiding and the black SUV in which the driver is unidentified crashed with a relatively vicious impact.
Circumstances have been made even more interesting as Dai has been admitted to the same hospital where the Venezuelan archer, Elías Malavé, who was previously wounded in the shoulder by Dai’s accidental misfire, is undergoing treatment.
