The People's Republic of China is horrified and disgusted by the leadership of Venezuela. We have come to these games to allow Chinese athletes the opportunity to display their sportsmanship and prowess for athletics. Our government has summoned 15,000 Chinese soldiers to ensure the safety and success of these games and yet we are still being attacked. It appears that the Venezuelan government can not get over the topic of illegal drugs which somehow ended up in the VIP box, likely as a party favor for the failed celebration that was planned for the opening of the Olympics. China can not help but inquire why the Venezuelan President will not let this issue lie considering that Venezuela has rampant drug smuggling issues domestically with levels continuously increasing in the 2010s. With a faltering government and the proliferation of the drug trade, it seems Venezuela needs to deal with its domestic issues before it takes a moral high ground.
