In response to China's most recent press release, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is convinced that China has conspired to ruin the Olympics in Brazil. They have maimed one of our citizens, a citizen of South America, and have contributed in bringing drugs to the games. This announcement of China's superiority is nothing more than slander against the Republic of Brazil, and against South America as a whole. I, Nicolas Maduro, the President of Venezuela, denounce China's actions and would ask for others to do the same.
