Chinese Rowing Crew Potentially Sabotaged

Xinhua

As the Olympic facilities shut down due to an explosion at the athletics competition, the Men’s Canoe Singles 200m event has come under heavy scrutiny as the Chinese team sank during their race against Germany.

Adamant allegations of foul play have been suggested in the investigation currently underway.

The two Chinese athletes are now being treated for excessive and extensive hair loss. Their physical effect has been tentatively attributed by physicians to the increasing levels of toxicity in the Guanabara Bay, which had recently been contaminated by insect repelling chemicals in the bug-spray debacle.

The anger of Chinese officials and public spectators have created an uproar and disdain for the Olympic and Brazilian authorities in their failures of preventative measures and responses to the incident.

Since the Chinese crew, which was in first place, sank, Germany was the first to cross the finish line for the gold medal.

“It is absolutely disgraceful,” claimed a representative for the Chinese team. “Not only have these men lost their chance at the gold, they have lost their eyebrows as well.”
