I am running out of time and patience with the Brazilian government. I want to work with them to solve this problem, but my requests continue to be stonewalled. Russia will be greatly reducing its military and intelligence aid to Brazil if the Russian leader is not received more warmly by the Brazilian cabinet.
The people of Russia have suffered for far too long over the last few weeks. Our athletes have been slaughtered and no apparent action has been taken by the Brazilian government or, if it has, I have not been personally informed. Continuation of this state of affairs is unacceptable.
