Germany would like to clarify the recent deployment of troops in Poland and Moldova as a purely defensive move and wants to ensure the international community that our motivations are simply to protect the Ukrainian people from further Russian influence. We condemn the harsh statements made by Russian President Vladmir Putin, and would encourage him to release his motivations for the increase in bombing practices near Ukraine.
